I studied trumpet at the Colchester institute where I received a BA Hons in music and a Postgraduate Diploma in performance.

 

I am an experienced trumpet teacher I have been teaching all brass instruments for over 20 years. I am used to teaching a wide age range of pupils and abilites  and I have had many pupils go on to study trumpet at university and Music colleges and a few of my ex-students are now playing professionally.

I play trumpet in many professional groups and ensembles including 

classical, jazz and pop. I play at many corporate events, weddings, parties, clubs and festivals. The bands I play in regularly are OLD SKOOL and the Groovetails and I often play for other bands too.
